Red Fish powers audience text poll for WSVN Fox News.
During the 6:00pm news, WSVN asked its viewers to participate in a text poll to voice their opinion about the decision of John McCain's running mate. Thousands voiced their opinion. 57% of the audience text NO.
“These types of programs keep their viewership engaged and interacting with the broadcast, people like to feel involved and what better way to do that than to ask them to. Everyone has a mobile phone in their pocket and everyone's text messaging, I can only assume that the numbers will increase of people willing to participate” says Matt McKenna, President of Red Fish Media

“Cone on your phone” a service that alerts people of South Florida of threatening Hurricanes and Tropical Storms through text messaging has gained over 53,000 subscribers since it launched 2 months ago. “This service has helped keep me informed and prepared, I just love the service” Joanne Baker of Kendall says.
Text “cone” to 23000 to sign up. Standard carrier text messaging rates apply.
