One of the few positive emerging threads surrounding the recent disaster in
Haiti is the immediate and massive outpouring of support and funding that
has come to the victims due to grass-roots promotion. Wyclef Jean's Yéle
Haiti foundation has raised millions in relief for the disaster in Haiti via
their text-based fundraising campaign which was developed by Give on the Go,
the fund-raising division Red Fish Media.
Matt McKenna, founder of Red Fish Media will be joining us at The Tweet
House to discuss how the combination of Twitter and mobile technology is
revolutionizing how non-profits and businesses drive engagement and
conversion. McKenna will outline how the Yéle Haiti campaign was developed
and executed, and how @Wyclef via Twitter was able to generate a million
dollars in donations from a single tweet. He will discuss how the lessons
