On Board Experiential Marketing and Red Fish Media collaborated to launch Nike’s Football Experience Event. The Nike event featured Nike’s “New” football apparel line. Hall of Famer, Jerry Rice, kicked off the event at the Los Angeles store. The campaign targeted high-school students by asking them to rank which apparel line they were most interested in via SMS text message. Stations within the store were setup with an SMS call-to-action. Each item had a call-to-action which prompted participants to text a keyword to Red Fish Media’s short code. Once the participants texted in their item of interest, an SMS return message provided them with pertinent information on that item. The event proved to be extremely successful. The students had a blast!
